Brilliant Corners is Dave Black (guitar), Paul DeMarinis (Sax), Dan Eubanks (bass), and Kevin Gianino (drums). Taking its name from the work-of-genius Monk tune, Brilliant Corners is a force larger than the sum of its experienced parts. What it does exceptionally well is build upon the great traditions of jazz that influence all musicians, while adding its own forward movement to the medium: a synthesis of jazz history and a wide variety of contemporary world music.
